Located just 5 easy miles from Lake George Village, the year
'round Hide-A-Way Waterfront Cottages, located on 721 feet of
quiet Lake Vanare shoreline, boast their own unique beauty.
Our 13 family-friendly cozy cottages offer fully equipped kitchens,
individual picnic areas with charcoal grills, and campfire rings.
Some of our cottages are "Pet Friendly" and our guests
enjoy free use of our rowboats, canoes, and paddleboats on our
non-motorized Lake Vanare. The Hide-A-Way also offers ping-pong,
Volleyball/badminton, horseshoes, and swimming at our sandy
beach. And don't forget the Fall foliage and hiking, Winter
relaxation, snowmobiling and/or skiing, and Spring fishing and
biking. Our Winter cottages overlook snowmobile trail C4A and
of course have full kitchens and a family room with a fireplace.

Open from early May through October. The cottages and lodge
accommodations are very comfortably furnished and are located
directly along the water's edge. All cottages have fully equipped
kitchens, a dining area, one or two bedrooms with a queen bed,
a screened in porch or deck, shower, cable TV and electric heat.
Bed linens, blankets and pillows are provided with all cottage
rentals. Cottage rates include the use of all recreational facilities,
including a private sandy beach, rowboats (the fishing is excellent),
kayaks, our children's play area with swings, slide, tetherball
